Kultum Salat Rawatib

Salat Rawatib

In this short sermon, I will discuss *Rawatib* prayers. *Rawatib* prayers are divided into two categories: *Qabliyah* and *Ba’diyah*. *Qabliyah* refers to voluntary prayers performed before the obligatory prayers, while *Ba’diyah* refers to those performed after them. Thus, *Rawatib* prayers are voluntary prayers that accompany the obligatory prayers, whether performed before or after them. These prayers are highly recommended, as they carry great spiritual rewards and virtues.

Infographic

Infograpihc Design

I created this poster with the theme “Save the Earth and Reduce Plastic Waste.” The primary goal of the poster is to encourage the public to reduce plastic waste and become more environmentally conscious. I designed the poster using Affinity Designer, a vector-based graphic design application for desktop computers. I chose Affinity Designer because it offers a wide range of tools and features that facilitate illustration creation, object arrangement, color selection, and layout composition. Using this application allowed me to create an environmental poster that is simple, colorful, and informative.

Throughout the creation process, I utilized various tools and elements available in Affinity Designer. I used a bright blue background to symbolize the sky and evoke a fresh, environmental atmosphere. The poster’s central element is a **large illustration of the Earth being cradled by hands, symbolizing our responsibility to protect and care for the planet. At the top, I added the main title “SAVE THE EARTH” and the subtitle “REDUCE PLASTIC WASTE” using large, rounded white typography to ensure the message stands out clearly. I also included three key environmental concepts: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Each concept is placed inside a blue box with rounded corners, featuring white text and a brief explanation. I added illustrations of clouds, green leaves, eco-themed shapes, and the recycling symbol as decorative elements to reinforce the environmental theme. Additionally, I employed rounded rectangles, black outlines, varied font sizes, and color contrast to ensure the information is conveyed clearly and is easy to read. The Layers feature was also used to group and organize various objects, making the design easier to edit.

In my opinion, the creation process was not overly difficult, as Affinity Designer provides many useful features that streamline the design workflow. The most crucial aspect was arranging the illustrations, text, and information to ensure the poster remained balanced and easy to understand. I completed this poster in approximately one day. Through this poster, I hope the public will understand the importance of reducing plastic waste and adopting the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) to help preserve the Earth.

Poster Burger

Poster Burger

I created this poster based on the theme of “affinity.” Generally, affinity refers to a sense of liking, connection, attraction, or natural compatibility between people or things. I designed this poster using Affinity Designer, a vector-based graphic design application for desktop computers. I chose Affinity Designer because it offers various features that streamline the illustration process—ranging from object creation and color adjustment to layout arrangement. By using this application, I was able to produce a clean, simple, and high-quality poster.

During the creation process, I utilized various tools available in Affinity Designer: a bright red background; an illustration of a large burger as the main subject; a smaller burger illustration as a decorative element; the word Burger in large typography positioned behind the main subject; the word an Order Now element a 25% Off sticker; the Ready In Canteen logo; the slogan Enjoy Every Bite; the phrase Best Taste Everyday; a slanted brown banner; a white circle in the top-right corner; a yellow shape in the bottom-right corner; green line accents in the corners; black outlines on the burger images; drop shadow effects on the text; 3D effects on the typography; and various typefaces, including bold/display styles, decorative serifs, and rounded or handwritten styles. I also used the Layers feature to group objects, making the design more organized and easier to edit.

In my opinion, the creation process was not overly difficult because Affinity offers many features that simplify design work. I completed this poster in about one day.
